I’ve just finished reading “Chained Soldier Volume 17” which released today, so I’ll share my thoughts on it. Since this is my first time writing about this series on this blog, let me briefly explain it. This is an action & ecchi manga currently serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump+. The story unfolds in mysterious alternate dimensions called “Mato” that suddenly appeared throughout Japan. The “Peaches” that exist in these Mato bestow special abilities upon women, and an organization called the “Demon Prevention Squad” utilizes these abilities to protect people from monsters. The protagonist, Wakakura Yuki, a high school boy, accidentally wanders into Mato and meets Hanzen Kyoka, the commander of the Demon Prevention Squad’s 7th Unit, becoming her “slave” to fight alongside her…and so on.
