I am writing my impressions and review of Culdcept BEGINS, which was released on 7/17. I have cleared the main story in about 14 hours.
Introduction: First Time with Both Culdcept and Card Games There are two things I want to clarify first.
The last time I played a Culdcept series title was Culdcept Expansion Plus, which was released on PlayStation in 2000, and I played it years later around 2010, well after the PS3 had already been out for a while, so naturally I do not remember this series itself at all. So I cannot write comparative impressions as a series title, and I will not.

Following up on last week’s Manga “Hunter x Hunter” Chapter 411 Review & More, I’m writing about the latest Hunter x Hunter chapter and impressions of some games I’ve been playing recently.
Hunter x Hunter Chapter 412 “Question” Summary: Through his questions to Queen Oito, Kurapika confirms that Prince Woble here and now does not qualify for the Succession Contest.
So, the “Prince Woble is not qualified for the Succession Contest” reveal Kurapika dropped at the end of the previous chapter was not a bluff, but the truth. Kurapika and his group were completely outplayed by Queen Oito.

"The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tale" Review: If the Demo Is Fun, the Full Game Is Too

I cleared The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tale, which was released on 6/18, so I want to share my impressions while keeping spoilers to a minimum.
The first thing I’ll say is that the full game had the same things I expected from the demo, so I had a great time with it.
The “RPG” in Action RPG Is JRPG First, I want to write about this game’s genre. Officially, the game is labeled an “Action RPG.” But the meaning of this RPG is not the general one of a WRPG, where you level up, allocate stats, and build a character; it is more natural to think of it as a JRPG that emphasizes characters and story.

Hunter x Hunter Chapter 411 Review: The 2nd Nen Class & More

Hunter x Hunter’s latest chapter was published for the first time in about a year and a half, so I’ll share my thoughts on it, along with some impressions of games I’ve been playing recently.
Hunter x Hunter Chapter 411 “Announcement” Synopsis: Kurapika holds the second “Nen Ability Training Session.”
There are various other characters making moves as well, but since I didn’t go back and re-read the previous chapters before this one came out, I don’t remember what state each character is in at all, so honestly I’m not really sure what’s happening. Apparently a prince has died, and now that I think about it that might be right — and whether the claim that the 14th Prince doesn’t qualify for the succession war is true or just a bluff is anyone’s guess. It was a good chapter for building up that sense of anticipation that something is about to happen, just like always.
